Criminally un-noticed when on sale in group buy, the Gemini TKL was conceived as a custom housing for the Novatouch TKL keyboard.  In a wonderful coincidence, the attributes needed to create a Novatouch case also make for a stellar Alps case.  Specifically, the Gemini is an unusually large polycarbonate gasket mount with a large amount of extra internal volume.  This leads to a deep and resonant sound that rivals even that of vintage plastic Alps cases.

Only 25-30 of the polycarbonate Geminis were ever produced, and only a couple of these were frosted (the large majority are smoked).  A stainless steel plate promotes a lively, bright sound, and compliments the frosted case. The polished finish makes the polycarbonate top surface gloriously bright.  Thick leaf springs are cut into the mounting points to slightly soften the hard bottom out of the steel.
